What did you do with the IBM HD you got back after you RMA'd it?

When my 75gxp died, I went and got a Maxtor. At some point in my lifetime, I should be getting the replacement drive from IBM (it's been around 3 weeks now). If I could trust it, I'd love to put it in an older 2d computer - but that's the problem, I don't trust it.

What did most of you do with the replacement drive?
 
I've got my replacement in my main rig. Do I trust it? Hell no. Everything important I have gets backed up to CDR fairly often. I did have another 17gb drive in this machine but I had to put it in a 2nd computer I built so now this 45gb 75gxp is alone in here. I'm going to buy another 80gb drive though as soon as I can though (a flat-panel display is taking priority over that though).
 
Since I gave you the idea wanna sell it to me for about $30? Friendly favor? Evil plot for me to lose my data?
