Yep, the IS is gone. We had some problems with it that were going to cost us a lot of money and Lexus made us a deal we couldn't refuse.

Transmission. It was also going to need front struts and the 120k service.

Dealer wanted $5k for the transmission and $1500 for the struts.

The other day, I hand washed it, conditioned the door/hood/trunk seals, cleaned the interior, conditioned the leather, and cleaned all the nooks and crannies on the door edges and body that are not visible with the doors, trunk lid, and hood closed. Ordered some Megiars Ultimate Paste Wax so I can re-wash it and wax it tomorrow.

I also picked up a soft bristle toothbrush so I can clean all the crevices between body panels and the various lights. The crap that gathers there pisses me off.

Cleaned out all the crevices today and laid on two coats of wax. Took five hours.

Ow, my body.
