One person on my forums reported the line at BB started at 7:00 PM !!!!

So even at 3:00 AM they were #250 in line.

I got a nice 27" flat tube sony for my mom from this florida chain for $350 AC. An ok deal. Then I drove to the local UPS center to pick up my laptop because it arrived in town this morning at 7 a.m. and is scheduled for delivery on Monday. Turns out that they closed the customer part of the warehouse for the day, even though they were delivering packages around town! I really really really hate UPS.

I bought a 19" flat panel display (16ms response) for my main computer from newegg. Should be here Tuesday I expect. It will replace a 3 year old 19" monitor.

I'm typing on my BF deal. 😀 I picked up the laptop from Best Buy. Had a ticket for the camera, but the line for that was WAY too long and I had to be at work by 730.

I also spent 2 hours on line to get to the register. 🙂

What did you guys get?

I wanted a tv so I went to CC I scored the el crapo 27inch there for 127.99. I went to OD after that to score the maxell dvd-r's, was surprised they still had some. I then went to compusa to see if they still had any of the 100pk dvd-r 4x. They had a crap load. I scored one of those and was talkin to the guy in front of me and I asked him if the hdd he was holding was the 60gig. He said "no its the 80gig 29.99 out the door isn't bad" so I'm like wtf grabbed one and went through the huge line. Checked out realized I def wanted more so I came back grabbed another 100 dvd-r's and found another hard drive someone had stashed. Total for 2x80gb 8meg drives and 200 dvd-r's was $106. The TV my parents let me charge to my CC because I don't have one in my apartment and some of my lectures are on cable.

Woke up at 7 and left by 8:30...

Target:

Simpsons Season 4 - $17.77 at 9 AM

Office Depot:

Microsoft Wireless Desktop - $49.99 with $35 MIR = $14.99 AR (last one at 10 AM...YES!)

Wal-Mart:

Call of Duty - $39.99 pricematched to $9.99 from BestBuy (BB still had the game at 11 AM but the line was about a 3 hour wait here in San Antonio)

I slept until around noon, had a cookie for lunch, drove to BestBuy 30 minutes away, waltzed in and picked up a Samsung 712N for 420$ with 170$ worth of MIR. I tested it and it has no pixel problems. No rush, no madness either!

Let see, here is my adventure:

BestBuy: arried around 6 a.m. and the line was all the way to the back of the store, waited about 30 minutes to get in. I got 2 WD 160GB for $30 AMIR/each, ATI 9600XT for $100 AMIR, Aladin DVD $10, Call Of Duty and HalfLife 1 for $10 each, The Sims Deluxe for $5, Shania Twain Greastest Hits CD and NOW 17 for $8/each.

Target: no line, didn't see the Simpson 4 for $18, OSS I reckon.

CircuitCity: no line, got 5 movies for $25

WalMart: stop by because it was right next to CC, didn't see anything I like so I got some Campbell soups for $1.44 each

OfficeMax: no line, only got the 4 in 1 pen for $2 AMIR

OfficeDepot: no line, didn't see anything I like.

ToysRUs: no line, wanted to buy a 20 set HotWheels for $10 and a SpiderMan 2 figure for $4.5 but the prices only good from 6 a.m. to noon so no go.

The Mall: Sears: no line, nothing I like. EBGames: no line, nothing I like. JCPenney: no line, bought a nice pairs of black dress shoes for $35.

That's all for today, will update for tomorrow adventures so stay tuned..LOL.
