What did the internet cost you this past year?

Define moderately and specify what part of Europe? Because if it's somewhere like belarus...

Well, since the internet SAVED me an assload of time I cant really say it cost me anything.

Do we really want to go back to the days of trying to find stuff out and NOT using the internet? For those of you who dont know or cant remember, it used to take days/weeks/months/years do do the kinds of things the internet does for us in less than a second.

Not to mention all the stuff we can purchase at a small fraction of retail price.

I'm not doing too bad these days. I've probably bought a couple hundred bucks of stuff I really don't need in the past year. I've gotten all of my big projects done around the house until spring. Now if cable wasn't $42/mo. for internet I'd be ecstatic.

When I first got on the internet, I became an upgrade-aholic. I spent thousands, just because something new was always coming out. Lately, I've gotten more content using older, but still decent hardware. Right now I'm running a Northwood P4 2.6, overclocked to 3.2, as well as a 6800GT card. I'm fine with that....for now. 🙂
