See title. If you have to ask what movie, this thread is not for you:p

I was listening to what Fredo said, but it didn't click as to what set Michael off...

At the show they were at, The senator asks Fredo where he found this place. Fredo tells him that _____ (Hiram Roth's guy, I think it's the guy who plays Junior Soprano) showed it to him.

When Michael got there, he introduced the guy to Fredo, and both acted as though they had never met.

I didn't notic this the first few times that I watched it. Took me a while to put it together :)

I don't know the guys name, but when Michael first came to Cuba he introduced some guy to Fredo, and Fredo said he didn't know him.

Later on at the club, Michael overheard Fredo saying that the guy knows all the great spots in Cuba. Damn, now I'm gonna go pop the movie in just to see the guys name:p

OK, thanks :) I'll have to rewatch it again...and pay careful attention throughout the whole movie. There are so many names and so much going on.

But that still doesn't quite clue me into why Michael knew that Fredo had put the hit out on him. Was this guy involved somehow? And if he was, why would Michael be talking to him or introducing him to his family?

Fredo also says he was just trying to make some of his own action and did the whole "I should've been the boss, I'm the older brother" thing to justify it. I think he was trying to apologize because he didn't realize what his actions would and did cause.

Fredo had no balls. Hell, in the first movie he fumbled with his gun after his dad got shot and fell out like a punk ass bitch instead of poppin' off some rounds. Could you imagine Sonny? OMG, he would have f*&ked them all up, then pissed in their faces.

Go watch the Godfather and the Godfather II and you will understand.

How could you have NOT seen these movies? They are epics.

I've never seen them, either. Some people just aren't into that kinda thing I guess.

The Godfather and The Godfather Part II are two of the greatest movies EVER made....PERIOD!

#1 and #3 here on the top 250 list

I'm not disagreeing with you, Brandon, I'm just saying that some people have different tastes. And if you're going to try and win an argument with the IMDB's top 250, let me just point out that The Matrix is #34 on there - and you hate it. ;) I can't remember if you liked LOTR or not, but that's an even better example. ;)

And just to save you the bother of looking it up, Shawshank Redemption is #2, in between Godfather I & II.
