What did everyone think about the movie Contact?

I'm always annoyed with movies like that and shows like the X-Files where:

Look, aliens!
Whoohoo, I've got pictures!
Whoops, I exposed the film, dropped the camera under a truck and then an aligator swallowed it!
Now I'll know there are aliens, but I'll never be able to prove it to anyone else. D'oh!

It's more interesting to have a series like Stargate SG-1 where the world does change and is affected by the events of the episode or movie.

I think you're getting Contact mixed up with Deep Impact (guy spots a meteor coming, hops in Jeep to alert someone, crashes and dies).

😕 what he said describes Contact pretty well: the main char sees aliens but nobody believes her.

Doh, last scene. Hehe 😛 It's been a while since I've seen the movie. I just popped it in the DVD player. I'll be up for a while 😀

"Contact" is pro-alien propaganda released by the Illuminati to soften us up in preparation for invasion!:|
