What decade was more embarrassing and cheesy for movies?

When you look back at your movie experiences, what decade stands out to you more with regard to movies that were harolded as huge blockbusters -but now, when you watch them, you can't help but go "Oh my god, this is horribly cheesy! How did this EVER make any money in the theater!?"

Why do you think so? Examples?

Considering that the 70's is considered to be one of the greatest decades ever for movies, I don't think that would be a good choice for me.

I'd have to say that this is without a doubt the 80's.

You really should have just started a topic called "The 1980s had the cheesiest movies of all time" and then locked it. No discussion is really necessary.
