In the northern hemisphere. I hate this time of year when the sun sets at about 4:30. I want the sunlight to last atleast past dinner. :disgust:

Well at least that day is getting closer. From then on, the daylight hours get longer. But the weather gets colder!

Dec 21, Hehe, I bet it's pitch black all day in Antartica on that day. Must be the moon circling the horizon.

Moonbeam, actually, it'd be sunny all day. Antarctica's in the Southern Hemisphere

Moonbeam,
Antartica would have almost around the clock daylight since that pole is pointed towards the sun.
The Artic Circle on the other hand, since it's pointed away would have the extended twilight.
<edit>You beat me to it BA</edit>

BA & TonyH, I know, I was saying that's some kind of funny longest night with that very bright moon.
