I reverted back to Windows 2k style looking. Removed all themes services, among others. I'd rather my PC not run like I'm running 2k on a 233Mhz machine when I'm running 2.2Ghz on XP, thanks

Do you have 128 meg of memory or something? I can run themes just fine without any slowdown at all on my machine.

I was going to say the same thing. Some people don't know enough to turn off the effects that come with the theme and make it seem like it's running slower.

On my work laptop (the only machine I have running XP), just plain old classic.

I use a strikingly similar one called Iceman's Jaguar Theme. You can google it. Comes with convenient installation instructions on how to hack XP's theme manager so you can use external themes.
