what could suddenly cause a cpu to stop oc'ing?

here's my basic setup:
MSI K7N2
2100+ T-bred B (the one from around dec/jan that oc's really well)
Antec SL300S psu
2x 256MB Crucial PC2100

I've been running that chip at 166x13=2158 (2700+) @1.70v for the past 7 months and it has been rock solid stable the entire time, hasn't even crashed once while running Prime95. also never got above 52C on load, and my mem was running at 133 because it wouldn't go any higher. I didn't change anything at all, but a week or two ago it gave me a random restart for the first time and wouldn't boot. I cleared the CMOS and set the oc jumpers to "safe mode" and it came back up but after that incident I haven't been able to oc it anymore. now whenever I set it to 166x13 even at 1.75v, it won't boot and it's even unstable in windows when I run at 133x14 @1.65. I'm doing everything the same as when I oc'd it 7 months ago. for some reason ever since that time it restarted, I haven't been able to consistantly run it higher than stock.

That is easy. There was another tweak in the BIOS that got reset. This happened to me as well, until I realized that memory voltage changed to a default. Search and you'll find it. If I remember well, the board of yours has memory/bus ratios, that could be a problem for reseting to a default as well.

no before when it was oc'd and working fine, I had my ram running at 133 at default voltage. (I had fsb:ram ratio set to 5:4) after it restarted that one time, I set it to the same ratio with 166fsb and 133ram, but it didn't work
