I have an epox 8kha+ mobo and I just got an amd 2400+ thoroughbred chip. Default is 133*15 = 1995. With retail hs/f what do you think I could go up to?
Is it better to adjust fsb or multiplier (or both).

140*15 = 2100?
145*15 = 2175?
higher???
lower???

thanks.

With that motherboard, the highest stable overclock you're going to get is around a 138fsbx16 multi=2208, more than likely. With either this $53 Biostar, or this $86 Epox, or this $71 Abit, you should be able to do at least 10.5 or 11x210 fsb. My old XP2400 will go as high as 12x200, but it's not Prime95 stable. It will play UT2003, or any other game that I own at that speed, though.
