Could I of damaged the video card? I wasn't too hard on it.. cleaned all the old stuff off with isopropyl cleaned any residue.. put the new cooler on (which works much better idles at 50 rather than 70) but everything looks bluer on the screen =(

I wouldn't have thought it likely that you damaged the card but it is always possible. Could it be possible that you somehow changed the settings in a control panel for the hue/contrast?

Try letting it (dry) cure some more...I've dipped my 6800gt in pure Isopropyl to clean it and had similar results .

A few hours later everything was ok...

Hmm.. the odd thing.. if I use the dvi adapter.. it looks fine =/ I've been without power for over a day so been able to cure for a long while lol.

I would of thought that... except the cable is completely tight on both the dvi adapter and the regular vga adapter =/
