What could be wrong with my monitor?

Sometimes the image on my monitor becomes all pink-ish, it happened just now when I pressed down on the top of it. It went back to normal when I turned it off/on. It's a Mitsubishi Diamond+ 91 BTW.
 
Check the connection to your cpu. Sometime pins become loose or defective in the connector, and as you may or may not know, each pin controls a different color.
 
I noticed I didn't have the cable screwed into the monitor. So I fastened the screws, and so far so good. Hope that was it.
