i have a NESO PIXO A700 Black 17" 16ms LCD Monitor, some might say thats problem right there lol but supriseingly it has a 3 year warranty on it....

i have it for about a year , and lately its been making this weird "click noise" not like a harddrive click , its more like for example if you were to move your monitor instead of the base and from the side of the monitors screen the plasic makes a click noise, thats exactly what it sounds like only the monitor is not being moved......

I checked to see if its maybe my pc or maybe even the radiator from the other room thats making the noise from right behind my monitor wall but everything is pointing to the monitor........

besides that occasional weird noise the monitor is working fine just like it has for a year .....

any suggestions

Is the back of the monitor warm? Or worse yet hot to the touch? If it is it could be the expanding plastic casing of the monitor. How often does it makes the sound? I would suspect expanding plastic casing.

Good call Jiggz.

In my reading online it has come up that some LEDs are having similare problems being
offered by some PSUs=premature small componet break down, causing heat build-up.
If it is very warm or hot to the touch, consider a RMA.

Make sure it's being driven by stable power. My LCD made scratchy noises when I turned on my old PC when it was attached to the same power strip. Simply got a new power strip, and now no problem.
