Hi.

Between Corsair 330R and 350D, overall what is better? :\
I read the two anandtech reviews, but I would like know your opinions :D

My rig will be:

Intel i5 4670k
Asus z87-A (with 330R) or Asus z87 Gryphon (with 350D)
G.Skill RipjawsX 2x4 8gb
Cooler Master hyper evo 212
Amd Sapphire 7950 3gb

I'd get Fractal Design Arc Midi R2 for only $65. It has been $100 and still a good buy. Or if you want the noise reduced variant get Define R4 for $80 AP.

To answer your question, 330R is an ATX case and 350D is a microATX case so I would not compare the two. In their own right, both are nice cases, but for ATX I would prefer the above, and for microATX I would prefer the Fractal Design Define Mini over 350D. It's quieter, more sturdily built, a little less expensive and doesn't lack anything important the 350D has.

What CPU cooling are you planning to use, by the way? And what power supply?

I would check Craigslist too if I were you. I found a Fractal Design XL R2 for $50 not too long ago.

Heh, I'm used to paying £30 (UKP) for a case ($48 USD using a currency converter). What do you get for twice the price?

The 500R maybe is too big for me.

The Fractal Define Mini is nice but I don't like the IO panel position :\ and all the fractal cases are like that, I always put the case in my desktop and for connect the front headphone jack it's more uncomfortable and forced I think.

PS: The cooler will be CM Evo 212, noctua nh-u12s or scythe mugen 4, and the PSU a corsair cx750m.

OK well you need to decide whether you want ATX or micro ATX.

I would strongly recommend against a CX750M. Why buy a high wattage unit with cheap capacitors? Either pay the same for a higher quality 500-600W unit, or pay more for a higher quality 650-750W unit. But only do the latter if you know you're going to do SLI or Crossfire. FYI, SLI or CF won't really work in micro ATX. The cards will heat up and make a lot of noise if there is no room to breathe between them.

Ok, then with similar prices, what PSUs of these are better choice?

-Corsair TX650 V2 650W SemiFanless
-Be Quiet Pure Power L8 CM 630W Modular
-Seasonic S12II Bronze 620W
-Cooler Master GX 750W V2

And I always will use a single GPU, but I still don't decide between the 330R (with asus z87-A or gigabyte z87x d3h) or 350D (with asus z87 gryphon) :\

In the reviews dont be clear about what have better temps and noise, neither do I know if the front door of the 330R would be annoying or break with time. With the 350D the cpu cooler stays very close to the GPU and near of it 2 slots down I will put the asus xonar dgx.

If you will always use a single GPU,
1) a 550W unit would be just fine unless you're a big overclocker. Typically single GPU rigs use about 250-300W while gaming, although peak wattage with high end cards can be more.
2) you don't necessarily need a SLI/Crossfire board like Z87X-D3H, although SLI boards typically have better power delivery for CPU overclocking
3) microATX is definitely a good option

Have you looked at Cooler Master N200? It's an excellent microATX tower for the money. Costs about half of the 350D.

Is there a particular online store you're using? It's hard to recommend a PSU without knowing the prices relative to each other.

If with 550W is enought, I prefer go with 600/650W just in case. Aso I prefer a good z87 with a good case that I like me, the budget is important also but I want a PC for next 5 years, with future possibilty of a decent (no extreme) overclock.

I've looked a lot of cases, and in design I like specially these 330R and 350D, but they have different form factors/motherboards, and I don't know what is more silent, coolest and better choice overall.

It would seem like the 550D would be the more appropriate ATX case to compare to 330R. That said, I currently have a 650D that I plan to replace with the 550D, and then I want a second computer and planned to get the 350D for the mATX size. I have preferred the Obsidian line, despite the increased cost.

There aren't really any good 500-550W units available there. I'd get Antec HCG-620 for 70€ (10€ cheaper but practically the same thing as Seasonic 620W)

Since the unit isn't modular I would prefer to build in an ATX case where there's more space for cable routing. Any of Corsair 300R, Corsair 400R, Corsair 500R or Corsair C70 would be fine

I like more the 330R than 550D, but in design are very similars.

Thanks you very much :) then will take that antec. About those cases, I still think that I like more the 330R or 350D, also 550D but is more expensive.

In this review the temps of 350D are good compare to 500R: http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/corsair_350d/5.htm

Also I could put a second intake front fan (120 or 140mm) for air the hdd and PSU (e.g. scythe slip stream 800rpm that look silent for 6€), would be it good idea?

Thanks for the tip. I have been looking for a case to replace my aging Lian Li case. This case gets good reviews and comes with 3 fans and a fan controller. I also like its sleek no frills style.
For those like me that have to pay sales tax on NE purchases it can aslo be purchased for $65. shipped from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ATX9Y3C/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00ATX9Y3C&linkCode=as2&tag=legirevi03-20
Latest review from TH: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/arc-midi-r2-case-review,3562.html
Case dimensions: 9.1"W x 18.1"H x 20.3"D. It's slightly wider than most mid size cases.
