You meen like blue or green?

I heard the blue core overclocked better, but also heard that it was just a story and wasn't really ture.

purple does indeed give you better overclocking results as they use copper interconnects compared to the alumminum in the green cores. my 750 blue core is happy at 1150 mhz =).

I've got a Blue 1GHz running at 1338 right now, testing for a system it's sold in. :)

My vote is for the t-bird 750s blue ones seem to all do at least a gig and many do 1.1gig..

actualy i have a 750 blue core and just replaced my epox 8tka with a kt7-raid and can't even post at 1ghz. 950 runs good for the most part but i get rounding errors in prime95. votalge has to be a 1.94 (the max i can get without moding) to run 110x8.5, but its sits nice there at 35c and tops at 46c in prime95. the thing kept going up with more votage and the temps are about the same at stock speed/votage so the votage mod would probably help. anyway, my 750 is stuck at 935 for now, but thats still not bad:)

i wouldn't say bumb, it is still working flawlessly at 25% over stock speed. granted, im not as fortunate as yourself Renob, but i am still happy with the result.
