what cordless phone to get?

If you were in the market for a good reliable 2.4ghz cordless phone.. what would you get? I am not able to make up my mind.. Uniden and Vtech have mixed reviews.. wanted to get Panasonic but the ratings of their 2.4ghz phones are really poor... I am leaning towards this phone.. but I have not made up my mind.. I don't know if this particular model has FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum)

I've had nothing but Unidens for the past 5 years and have never had a problem with them. Good phones.

I like Uniden.. have one in the kitchen... works great, good quality.
Panasonic are nice too..

I have loved my Panasonic. Have had it for almost 3 years now...no issues

Had a Panasonic, died after about 6 months. Sent it back for service, they sent me a refurb - it died after about a month.

Have an AT&T now - it's a POS. The battery lasts about two days (at best), less if I actually use it. It also doesn't give you any warning that the battery is dying - beeps once, then you have about two seconds before the battery craps out.

I'm still using a panasonic that I've had since I got my first phoneline in my bedroom when I was 17(Im 26 now). And it still works great. It has even been dropped on the tile floor and cracked and shattered the antenna and casing and its works perfectly. I just recently bought a newer Uniden phone and it sucks ass.. I actually disconnected it and reconnected the panasonic.

Thanks for your suggestions ppl.. will probably pick up the Uniden.. all Panasonic 2.4ghz phones get only 2-3 stars on Amazon... the Uniden, i linked to has 6 reviews so far... and they seem to like it.. wish there were more reviews on this phone though.. a search on epinions.com came up with nothing...
