I'm at 2.475ghz with the stock AMD cooler, load temps never get above 51c, it's actualy pretty decent. With an XP-90 should be a little lower but not much.

hmm i forgot to mention i wanna stay quiet, ill try the stock amd cooler at first and if its not good enough ill replace it with an XP-90 plus a panaflo..

does that sound good? ive heard some of the scythes are good, along with the arctic freezer.

Here are my recommendations:

- XP-90 + Panaflo L1A
- CNPS7700-AlCu (if your mobo supports it)
- Scythe Ninja + Panaflo L1A (if your budget supports it)

I found the stock hsf was reasonable only noisy. I swapped it out for an XP-90 and Panaflo M1A - I don't find the extra noise over the L1A obtrusive, but I guess it's all relative to the graphics card :(

Though i am quite new on this field i wold wait for the Zalman 9500 to come out - or a similar thing made by Primecooler - they tend to be a bit better these days. However the 9500 kix ass - best choice for the dual core.

I'm using the Zalman 7000 on 4200@ 2.55 1.55v.. Full load about 48 .. I't's very quiet..

I found a 7700 for $36 + free ship at Amazon.. It should be here in a couple of days.. I will see what it does to my temp..
