What cooling solution are you using for your evga 680i motherboard?

So I've fried a couple of the evga 680i motherboards now and have another on the way. I really don't want to switch motherboards and it's too soon to move to the 780i.
What cooling solutions have people been using on these chipsets?
Someone told me one guy simply removed the stock retention bolts on the chipset heatpipe and secured it with another set of bolts that could be fastened tighter and this dropped his temps dramatically. I have seen these heatpipes actually come bent from the factory so this would make sense to me. Anyone tried this? Are there any other cooling solutions out there that can keep this northbridge in the 50's when doing high fsb overclocking?
