I need to buy a good Heat Sink + Cooling Fan to overclock my future Athlon (1.33 GHz). I read a number of reviews, but want to hear from you guys, too.

So,

What Heat Sink + Cooling Fan do YOU use with your overclocked Athlon?

If possible, please mention how much you paid for it, as well as how well the system overclocked.

Also, please mention how LOUD the fan is :)

.. Thanks! ..

ive been having great experiences with the fop series from globalwin. i currently have a fop32 and fop38 and both do the job very very well. my tbird 900*1066 is only 35c idle with an fop 38 on it. i used to get pretty similar results with the fop32.
i ordered my fop38 from
inflodirect fast and reliable.

GlobalWin FOP 32-1. It has the YSTech 26cfm fan. It's not too loud. But loudness is subjective anyway. If you're deaf, then nothing is loud, right? ;) I also have 4 case fans...can't hear the FOP32-1 anyway!

I use a Taisol 760 with dual 60mm sunon fans on it. It isnt loud because it is adjustable. At max, it is probably like 35-38 Db, and min, you cant hear it even with the cover off.

It cools really well too.

I ended up paying about 35+(2x9) = 53. I would say that it probably cools equivalently of a Swiftech 370, but that is just based on reviews.

Using that one program available at overclockers.com, and my data gathered from my MSI socket thermistor(it is REALLY REALLT ACCURATE ha...) it gave me a C/W of like .18.

Same here. It's loud but it's cool, just crank up the speakers.
