What controls the PCI bus speed.

Ok guys I here all this talk about changing the PCI bus speed. WHat caused it to change. I assume that it is coupled to something else.

The PCI bus is generally:
Equal to the FSB speeds in 486 systems
Half of the FSB in 50MHz-83MHz systems
1/3 of the FSB in 100MHz systems
1/4 of the FSB in 133MHz systems
Similar to AGP being:
Equal to the FSB in 66MHz systems
2/3 of the FSB in 100MHz systems
1/2 of the FSB in 133MHz systems

Overclocking tends to be dependant on the motherboard, chipset, and other varous settings.
