What Content Management Systems do the people of ATOT use?

I know Ive seen this discussed before but nothing came up on a "CMS" and "Content Managemnt System" search.

I am in the process of redoing one of my sites (that was static before and I want to go with some sort of managemnt system because its just too much of a pain to update html all the time).

A couple of requirements:

1. I only have php and mySQL installed so it needs to run on those
2. It would be nice if it could manage multiple sites because I eventually plan to add more sites and use one managment system would be helpful
3. It would rather it be on the easier side to use/configure but more importantly is that it could generate multiple types of pages (this wont be just a news/atricles system).
4. It would be better if it was free but I will be willing to purchase a package if its under $50, none of those really nice but really expensive professional systems.

Now Ive tried a few and none of them have really given me everything that I needed.

Ive tried mambo and typo3 so far and both have parts I like but neither have everything I want. I like mambos ease of use but it doesnt have enough options from what I can see. While typo is almost exactly what Im looking for but its too hard to use IMO.

Squarespace

a friends company, really good interface. but its geared more towards professionals and a complete cms. So theres no db to deal w/, or php. I don't know if its exactly what you're looking for.

I use Mambo on my current site - it's simple enough that it does what I want. I've dabbled in PHP-nuke but it's more of a portal than a true CMS. It's a lot more cumbersome but a lot more configurable. I plan on opening up a larger site here in not too long so I'm going to be going straight php-nuke. For pure simplicity purposes, Mambo seems to be king. If you really want something with more options/features, you're going to have to dive into something else.

Ive tired phpnuke too but wasnt too pleased with the way the php nukes and its variants function... too much like a simple blog IMO.

Anybody tried to use midgard lite? it looks pretty interesting but i think my host (dixiesys) doesnt want to run with them very well (getting errors) but thier pacakge looks pretty interesting.

I use lots of different ones:

1) Mambo
2) Custom made one called OMS, by yours truely
3) PhpNuke
4) GeekLog
5) Plone
6) hmm, I know there are about 3 more that I've used....
