What constitutes "additional information?"

"Please provide any additional information that you feel the scholarship committee should consider when reviewing your application for scholarship awards."

Would this include current income (or lack thereof), personal struggles overcome, etc.?

Sound to me like you should put in there anything that makes you stand out from the other applicants.

That makes sense. So basically an extension of why you deserve it, instead of personal/financial/extenuating circumstances.

Maybe something about how deserving you are and how investing in your eduation would benefit our society? Or just attached some nekkid photos. Either will work!
