what constitutes a bump?

I just need a little clarification about the bumping in the FS/T forum. Definitely a lot of threads there so bumping every 4 hours should be enforced. I just want to make sure I'm clear on what constitutes a bump. For example if you update your thread with new information and put a small message after that, is that considered a bump? What about things like "YGPM back" as a reply? Just want to make sure I stay within the rules..Thanks.

I will chime in and give you my .02 cents. Unless you are actually carrying a conversation with someone, anything else would appear to be a bump IMHO.

Those are all "worthless" replies, and add nothing to the content of your thread. If you update your thread, then bump it after 4 hours. Most people will give you a bump before the 4 hours is up anyhow. ;)

What John said.
A suggestion: You can edit the title of your thread to change the appearance, for example:
UPDATED or PRICE DROP, ROUND 2, or something catchy like that. It does not bump down other posts, but your thread title looks different, and I always check out a thread again if it has an updated title like that:)
