What constitutes a bannable offense?

I happen to know some general guidelines of what's bannable or not, but I only gained that knowledge from observing so many threads and posts and paying attention. However, I would like a concrete list rather than just vague guidelines. I realize you can't cover everything that's bannable and most things will be up to the discretion of the mods, but you could probably compile some things that would definitely ban you and not be tolerated even if it's the first offense and the offender claims ignorance. I would certainly pay attention to such a list, especially now that I am a subscriber.

If such a list already exists, please point me to it. It's not in the FAQ.

Another question: I get this at the top of my today page... #FTDIC_WORDS[495]#. What does that mean?

EDIT: Ok I found the Terms & Conditions, but only 'cause I logged out and on the relogin I clicked "JOIN". How obscure is that?! This is what I get when I click Subscriber TOS... At the very least, you could link to the "Terms and Conditions" when they're alluded to here:

<< 3. Use of Site and Forums. You agree to abide by the "Terms and Conditions" posted at the Site as the same may be modified by ANANDTECH from time to time in its sole discretion. ANANDTECH reserves the right to terminate, without notice, the access of any user including Premium Members if he or she should violate the Terms and Conditions or this Agreement. ANANDTECH grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited right to access and view the contents of the Site and Forums, but only for your own personal, informational, educational or other non-commercial purposes. >>

Can the "Terms and Conditions" agreement also be put in the FAQ?

I agre that the TOS should be put in the FAQ.

As for what's bannable, most of the time it is a judgement call, but there are a few things that pretty much guarantee a ban. First, pirated software, there seems to be a zero tolerance policy on this. Oftentimes, creating a second account when the first one is locked results in a ban. Excessive neffing (ie posting multiple nef threads and clogging the forums with junk, say you created 20 threads with the topic NEF, for example.) Spammers don't last very long here either.

Nudity
Porn
Virus attacks
Sites that crash browsers intentionally
Personal attacks on other members or Mods
Warez
Bypassing the lanquage filters
Posting "I n B e f o r e T h e L o c k" or any varient thereof Sorry Mods !
Trolls in FS/FT forum always get a one way ticket out of here
Using multiple accounts to NEF or Troll

I have watched over the few years a lot of people do idiotic things,If you use your common sense, you should have no trouble :)

Roger, I'm sure you have in your long tenure here, and I don't personally think I'm in danger of getting banned (knock on wood). The main reason I brought up this issue is that a lot of subscribers and potential subscribers are concerned about being banned when they've paid for the service. I think if the "rules" were more accessible, then bans wouldn't be as frequent and they would be fairer when they do happen. Just a thought.
