What constituted MSN upgrading the email from 2 mb to 250 mb?

I was just looking at my inbox and stuff, and I finally have 250 MB of storage. I was thinking "Why do other people get it, but not me?" but I finally got it. Now who does MSN give these accounts to? The people who have used up a bulk of their 2 MB for a long time? Super active users? I'm just curious as to what their reasoning is behind who they pick.

It was probably based on what server your account information is stored on and what server your storage space is on, etc.

They probably had to upgrade each server one at a time to avoid massive downtime for everyone and to make hardware changes to support this upgrade.
