I think that all these people who say it's easier to get warm than cool have never had to dig their car out from under several feet of snow at 7 am, trying to get to work on time :p

I can't vote. It's all relative. I don't have central heating or A/C. I can take 50 degrees in the house in the winter if I dress warm enough, and I can use space heaters in a pinch, but seldom do. The summers here aren't usually all that hot, but it's been pretty hot the last couple of days. Nothing that phases me, really. I'd say the winters are harder on me than the summers. I live near the coast and it's generally 20+ degrees cooler than just 10-20 miles inland. Depends on the sea breeze.

to be fair we have to compare conditions of relatively similar severity. I'd rather have the room temperature at 12 c instead of 32 c

cold, cold, cold. Heat makes me borderline homicidal, no joke. I snap at everyone and everything.

I'm fine up till the low 70's, then things get gradually worse. Anything over 90 is insta-hatred for me.

I have enormous cold tolerance. I'm perfectly happy in shorts out in 45degrees. Even when I'm in weather too cold for me to like, I don't mind because it's so easy to get warm.

cold > heat. living in texas, i enjoy the cold better, but can cope with the heat quite well.

Cool > Warm

I might complain about unusually low temperatures, but I'd *much* rather have freezing conditions than a day that is too warm (and by too warm, I mean > 72F). My body figuratively goes on standby in hot conditions.

Although it is more uncomfortable in the heat, I would take the heat any time over cold because cold is such a pain in the butt. Snow, ice, no sports, heater costs, etc.

Sure there's sports.. infact the temps getting colder only gets me more excited for Football season. :)
