A power cord, retailing at $1 still retails at $1. It's still at 100% resale, if not more, and that won't drop.
I think they were thinking more traditional monitors, IE a good 19 inch CRT probably costs the same now as it did a couple of years ago. I'd be very surprised if my 19" Samsung CRT depreciated anymore than $50 over the next couple of years.

another vote for Windows operating systems. even on Ebay, buying a full version of XP would cost me the same as when I bought it retail on the day of its first release.

a coworker of mine plays memory like the stock market. He buys $4000-$5000 at a time, then ebays it (like 10 auctions a week so he doesnt drive his own prices down)

he says he makes about $1000 or so a month doing this... but he's a huge bs-er so who the fsck knows..

laptops have resale value? lol:) every part is like proprietary, and they all wear like crazy since its being toted around everywhere.. one thing breaks and ur up the creek with expensive replacement.. if thats even possible:p

eh, computers as a whole have sh*tty resale. by the time ur stuff is used, new parts are cheaper and faster:p i'd say lcd monitors. they dim very slowly, so wear doesn't count for much. world demand keeping prices rather high to boot.
