where do you guys find these absolutely insane deals? I'd not be hesitant to go for them if I knew about em. Z560's for $19? lmao.. they're $200-440 here! $19 ($30, $40, whatever) would be an incredible deal and also much better than my current cheapo $50 yamaha 2.1 setup.

40-60GB HDs for this price? @#$#@!L$KJSAD.f... show me the linkage!

Check the Hot Deal threads for the Z560s. You have to call and PM and also use the $10 coupon off $50.

how does all this work anyway? i've never done anything like this, through AT i mean. I always buy stuff in person or whatever. people probably wouldn't trust me since i don't have some sort of 'good trader's history' or whatever. so I *call* and PM (wouldn't have a prob w/that if it's such a good deal tho)..

how bout international shietting and handling? I'm in Canadiana, so would that be problematic to the yanks below? ;)

It's not "through AT". It's hot deals from retail stores & websites that are posted here so people know about them. Just visit that forum every day and you'll find out about the best deals available on a wide variety of stuff.

And if you're patient, you'll find things that come along like a 40GB 7200RPM Maxtor hard drive for $10. (Well, I got a 60GB drive for -$10, but I'm a special freak incident. :) )

I'd buy a P4 3 gig for $35.00 (if some sucker was dumb enough to sell it for that little)

Keyboard, memory, what..?

The best item I can think of that I saw recently was 256MB ram for $25. Otherwise I can't think of much I'd want to buy that would be WORTH it at that pricerange. Hot deal on CD-Rs maybe.. but otherwise you get nothing good for $30. What do you think?

Ram
Logitech MX mouse
Head phone
Java programing book

He mis-typed. The deal is for Z540s, not Z560s. Sorry. :(

edit: it's right here

I got a couple of 120 GB Hard Drives for $39 each from a recent Hot Deal. After that, it is difficult to place and amount on an item.

I picked up a spindle of 50 CDs for $15cdn :Q and a new black keyboard for $10 (both new). Seemed both like good deals to me, and I needed to test to see if my keyboard was dying or if it was my mobo's fault. So now I will know - if this keyboard randomly dies as well, then it's not the keyboard at fault, but the mobo (K7S5A). And I have 50 new blank CDs, yay. :)
