What company makes the best ATI cards?

I was wondering what company makes the most reliable and best performing ATI cards?

ATI or Sapphire. I think Sapphire actually makes ATI brand cards for ATI. I could be wrong.

Powercolor is bad, dont even touch their products.

When I have owned ATI based video cards they have been made by Sapphire who I think make the best ATI video cards.

I've yet to have a problem with my HiS card. Otherwise I've had a Sapphire 9000 Pro and a BBA 9600 Pro without cause.

I had a couple Connect3d Radeon 9500s that were great cards. Definitely up to snuff with BBA cards, although I'm not sure how they're doing now with newer gen cards.

Don't all companies essentially take the ATI (or nvidia) reference designs and mass produce them (making all cards of the same model by different manufacturers the same)?

I've always liked the default ATI cards, but ATI's partners seem to have far fewer issues than nVidia's do...it seems most of the brands that make ATI cards are all pretty good.

yes, i had an Asus 9200, and it was fine. I even treated it kinda badly and OCed it some and its still working in a friends computer as we speak.

But yeah, Sapphire and (if you can get it) ATI cards are the best for ATI stuff....does nvidia make there own cards or do they just give people a design?

Powercolor are bloody awful. I've returned under warranty 4 9800 pro's before this one (which seems ok so far)...

Sapphire makes the best no doubt, but you can pay sometimes $100 more for the top line card. Xtasy has a very good reputation. ASUS fluctuates. HIS makes the best cooling, but for quality parts I have no idea.

either BUILY BY ATI or Sapphire cards
can't go wrong with them

ASUS is good, but pricewise not so attractive

ATI or Sapphire makes the best possible ATI cards. There are a few other good ones, but if you want the best quality, it is either of these two.
