What company has good cell phone plans right now?

I stopped in Best Buy to check out their deals today and they're giving away a Magnavox DVD player with the purchase of a new phone but I'm not sure I liked their plans. My girlfriend and I are both getting phones and want to get unlimited minutes to each other.

There's a PCS plan for $65/month with a shared 500 anytime minutes and unlimited PCS to PCS calls.

T-Mobile has a similar plan with 800 minutes but I haven't heard much about their coverage in the Bay Area.

Anybody got a good cell plan you can tell me about?

AT&T has a 550 shared minutes plan, 500 mobile to mobile, free evenings & weekends, free long distance GMS...

Amazon has the best deal if you want to go with T-Mobile, but the phones free after rebate with individual plans, they're shipped activated, upon arrival, call T-Mobile & have the plans combined, to a shared plan for $69/month, 800 anytime minutes, free weekends (no nights), unlimited mobile to mobile & free long distance.

I have the AT&T shared plan, but seriously considered the T-Mobile deal, I confirmed the free phones & shared minutes plan change with a CSR last week.

I think I'd go with T-Mobile right now if there wasn't some question about their coverage around here.

if it was me, i'd go with the company that has the best coverage in your area. for me in NJ the choice is either ATT or Verizon. Verizon has better coverage so i go with verizon.

Bingo.

First you find out who offers GOOD service in your area
THEN you find the best deals

Around here T-Mobile has the best deals but in other parts of the U.S. they suck.
