I think I've tried about 35 different Google searches.. I just can't get a reasonable answer..

All I've found is Papa Johns claims they were the first chain to offer online ordering Nationally.. And this site says Pizza Hut started it in 1998...

I tried MSN but it just gives a load of those frickin sites that just have a 100 advertisments..

Any help is appreciated!

The pizza shop I work in offered it about 10 years ago.
After 3 months, the boss's wife ordered 4 times from work and I ordered once to check it out, plus I sent them a porn pic to the fax machine..

3 months was the end of it.
Pointless.

YOu still can't order Pizza Hut online where I live (pretty decent size urban area)

I wouldn't count on it being one of the big chains; it was probably some independent pizza shop with a really nerdy owner.
