I work at the Port of Stockton which somehow ties into the Federal Government, but I don't really know what branch/department it is.

If you work for a largish company, mentioning your employers name in forums/public can lead to trouble for you. It appears that people can construe that to mean you represent that company or the companies thoughts/ideas. Lawyers don't like that risk and generally push for mgmt to get rid of such people. Thus, I can't say what company I work for and I caution others from doing the same.

same here. In fact, a couple of years ago an ATOT member was able to correctly guess my company. He sent me a PM and said his girlfriend also worked at my company, but in a different state. Too close for comfort there.

But I can say I work for a Fortune 250 company.

Good point, although my employer, like them or not, does have one of the best networks money can buy.
