NOVALOGIC!

I list them because a few years ago I called their CS line because I was having a problem networking one of their games (it was the only game I was having this problem with). I was treated very rudely and I was insulted. I told them I was not happy and the little sh#$ at CS told me in return that THEY were not happy that I called! Wha?

Needless to say I will never again buy another NOVALOGIC game - ever. They have lost a customer for life.

Wal-Mart - Just read a newspaper or watch TV and you'll see why
Best Buy - EVERYBODY hates Best Buy for various valid reasons
Sony - Back in the day they were the bomb-diggity, now they're just a name slapped on overpriced underacheiving junk
EA - NFL exclusive license, way they treat employees and competition, etc.

I'm going to sort of have to eat my words about Amazon. They were promising Dec 23rd delivery. At 11:30 pm Dec 22nd they turned the shipment over to UPS. It made it as far as the UPS warehouse in my fair city by noon on the 23rd where they were promptly missorted and therefore didn't go out on the truck for delivery. So Amazon more or less lived up to their promise though if they had shipped "within 1-2 days" as stated originally then the UPS screwup wouldn't have mattered. As it is, my shipment should arrive today.

Sony: that rootkit stuff is scary.

Compaq: Bougt a laptop from them 2001 for college. It shipped with bad ram. The sound card crapped out on me about a day after the warantee expired. Then I put it in my backpack, put my backpack on the floor, and the screen broke. POS.

Cingular is horrible. Horrible customer service, etc.
At least when T-Mobile screws up, they apologize and give you free service to try and make up for it.

Verizon - for crippling the Bluetooth on all their phones to disable OBEX, so you can't transfer ringers and wallpapers to your phone over BT, so you still have to buy them from Get It Now

Sony - one word: rootkit

Toshiba - refused to tell me how to disassemble one of their laptops (ie. which screws to remove to change the keyboard), after transferring me around the West Indies for 30 minutes, I finally get someone that tells me they shouldn't have even sold me the replacement keyboard, it's against policy (WTF? against policy to sell parts?) and that my only recourse would be to go to their local authorized repair center, and gave me the number for that. I call them, turns out they are located 5 minutes from me (hope all that phone time to Asia cost you a sh*t-ton, f*ckers). I call, they tell me instantly, done. I fix the laptop with help from the Americans down the street, no thanks to Toshiba.

Not that many companies are on my sh!tlist. 🙂
Although I have a few I dislike. Kinda don't like BB as they don't have good customer service. Plus they are one of the more anal stores.
Don't like Geek, because they and FedEx tried to screw me over. I never received the packages and FedEx claimed they delivered it. Good thing there was chargeback.

I probably won't buy from Geek again, because they never have any good deals anymore.

BEST BUY...those a$$holes.....Ohh the stories I have....being a former employee aswell......Ohhh inside scoop......juicey stories too......I even helped a few fellow employees testify in court against BB.....It was grand......=)~

Gerber, of the "Legendary Blades" not the baby food. I bought a dive knife based on their name, and it was a complete piece of garbage -- rusted the first time I took it on a dive even though I rinsed it and dried it within 30 minutes of getting out of the water. Their "lifetime guarantee" was BS, and they wouldn't do anything for me. I'll stick with Mission, Leatherman, S&W, Victorinox, and SOG if I want knives and tools.

Really? I had my Gerber Compact Sport diving with me many times in salt water, and it never rusted even though I didn't wash it off or anything.

And Leatherman, Smith&Wesson, Victorinox and SOG are definately good.

But you can't beat the locking on the Gerber.
