what is the smallest, compact, bicycle that's also reasonably comfortable for an adult? costing under $800.
i see this "half" bike. looks fun and compact but definitely not comfortable. there's no seat!
 
something that's small when not in use. compact to fit under office desk.
cant park it outside cause of thieves easily cutting or freezing locks.
 
It needs to be compact to fit under your desk? You can't find a place to park a bike in your office?

Typically, compact bikes are designed for travel, such as on buses or trains in cities. I've heard they're popular in some places in Japan. Something like this:

Cheap or Expensive?

I have a Dahon folding bike, cost about $250. https://usa.dahon.com/bikes/ Works great. I have one and can fold it and carry it into my apt pretty easily

If you wanna go expensive, I think Bromptons are the ones to beat. you're talking $2000+.

I don't care for for folding bikes. I have one sitting in my living room with a 3000w electric motor on it, and the low caster angle + small wheel size make it unpleasant to ride at more than ~10mph. It does really great wheelies though.

Sometimes you really have no choice, like in my situation.
 
i just saw an electric folding bicycle from Xiaomi for $500 msrp in china. so it costs $700 to usa from importers.
looks very high quality without the crazy $2000+ price tag that everyone else is charging
