Cell phone.

I refuse to have my private time violated, plus I absolutely hate people on their phones and driving and those in movie theaters with them.

If I could I would pay for a subscription to a service that gave me something that would let me have 500 feet of dead air around my person at all times.

I can understand news blogs, but personal blogs are moronic. Put it in a diary/journal and don't submit others to your boring life.

Good call. People hide their diaries in "real life", but they want to scream them out to the world, available for every English-speaking person of all seven continents to stumble upon.

I've got a pager and voice mail, plus I have vonage at home so I can always speak to them when it is convenient to me...

Forgot, I don't have a TV(Use a tv tuner card), LCD monitor(Why pay $250 for a crappy 17 inch flat screen, when you can get an awesome 19" for less than 100 after rebates?), don't use wifi(wires are more secure plus faster)

I completely agree. I had one ~4 years ago when they were "cool." Well, now they have spread around my school and everyone is talking about myspace. (11th and 12th graders). I wanna say STAHFOO NOOB to all of them.
Then you would be sooo much cooler then them! :p

I now refuse to buy the latest crap for computers, no high end stuff/modding for me it is stupid/pointless/expensive.
Never will i pay to play a MMORPG.

I was paying 30 a month for a landline with no surcharges for the ability of making a long distance call, plus 3 cents a minute phone cards, plus dial-up ISP charges...whereas I could get broadband and vonage for the same price. There was not that much to think over.

As for pagers being extinct, you can call me and we can talk about it....ohh wait...no you can't :D

paying for monthly online games....

no problem with paying for Xbox live but wouldn't consider paying for a PC online game service.

They'll you'll need binoculars or size 24 font as well. :p

For me:

Cell phones: I don't even like talking to people. Ugh, I don't want my boss to be able to call me anywhere anytime. Plus they're annoying, and I'd feel like such a weiner everytime I drew one out of the holster and said "This is Mr. Bigshot speaking".

LCD monitors: I want one, and am somewhat drawn by their low power usage...but dead pixels, high cost (getting better) and drawbacks regarding resolution and color just don't add up to the amount of desk space saved.

Wireless LAN: They're great. But both my PCs are 6ft from the cable modem.

Oh, man I love Safeway.com. If you spend over $150 you get $5 off shipping so it's ends up being about 4.95. This is an amount that I would gladly give anyone who would do all my shopping and bring everytihg to my doorstep. It does usually end up being more expensive than the amount they quote you but it's still worth it.
