LOL, I do the same damn thing, even though I make a pdf also.

Oh well, guess I'm just being safe incase my hard drive goes and I haven't done a recent back up.

"LCD monitors: I want one, and am somewhat drawn by their low power usage...but dead pixels, high cost (getting better) and drawbacks regarding resolution and color just don't add up to the amount of desk space saved. "

You won't believe how much an LCD helps with eye fatigue. I have an LCD at home and the CRT kills my eyes at work.

I will never own another CRT.

I just don't.

I'm surprised how I probably could do without TV these days as well. The only show I watch on a weekly basis is 24.

Blogging. Why would complete strangers want to know about my boring daily life?

I can understand news blogs, but personal blogs are moronic. Put it in a diary/journal and don't submit others to your boring life.

Good call. People hide their diaries in "real life", but they want to scream them out to the world, available for every English-speaking person of all seven continents to stumble upon.

I've got a 'blog' online... though I rarely use it. I've never forced anyone to read anything I host in my blog... I don't recall there being anyway to force someone to look at a particular website.

That said, I get remarkable traffic... apparently *someone* wants to read the random quotes, etc., that I like.

I refuse to have my private time violated, plus I absolutely hate people on their phones and driving and those in movie theaters with them.

If I could I would pay for a subscription to a service that gave me something that would let me have 500 feet of dead air around my person at all times.

close :)

I'll do just the opposite, since so many people seem to refuse to use texting and blogging.
I like texting since I get free incoming texts, so I can get whatever from my friend without having to pay my high prepaid minute rate. I can also view the message in class without disrupting it. They can shoot me messages from AIM...

Blogging was something that I refused to do, but I have found it to be good for venting. And I prefer it over the traditional journal thing. I mean if you have complaints, simply don't visit folks :).

I've done my taxes online and why not? Saves paper and stamps, plus I know it "gets" there.
Banking Online, it's almost up to the minute tracking, helpful for me...

However, I will not pay monthly for software subscriptions or gaming subscriptions. I mean I already paid for the software/game and now you want be to pay more just to use it? I think not!
