What command line option do you use for EAC?

I had to reinstall EAC and I'm looking at the AT FAQ page and it suggests to use the command line "--%l--alt-preset 128%l%h--alt-preset standard%h %s %d"

I remember it being something like "-r3mix.net" before.

What is the difference between the different command lines, and which works best?

The --alt presets were introduced a few versions ago.. they combined the best of all the remix.net and all the other command lines into one simple to use command line.. I forget what each line is but --alt preset extreme would probably be 256 vBR.. mine is --alt-preset cbr 192 for cbr 192 there is an faq about it look for alt preset

Just toy around with it.

With the long string I posted above, I cannot tell the difference on my home theater system between the MP3 and the CD.

Oh...and that's using the LAME encoder after ripping with EAC.

I use RazorLame to batch-encode because I rip a few albums at a time.
I just have it do --alt-preset standard
Nothing fancy.

Does using the 'faster' tag really decrease quality? I had it set to --alt-preset standard and it took around 4 minutes per song.
