What 939 cpu other than the FX series, is most likely to reach 2.7 -2.8?

What board, nforce3, would be the best for overclocking?

your best bet would be an MSI K8N Neo2. As for the CPU, it's all the luck of the draw.

As long as you get one of the more recent Winchesters, (this is usually luck-of-the-draw, but I suppose you might have more luck getting a later one with the faster-selling 3000+ or 3200+, because the vendor isn't selling you old stock), you could probably get 2.7 on air. Pair one of these with the MSI Neo2 or one of the Epoxes.
