What color should I paint my car?

I need some bodywork done to my track car, a 1990 Miata. Long story short: the previous owner welded up some critical drain holes which has caused some bad rocker rust which, in the case of a Miata, can get structurally dangerous.

The body guy I'm talking to (the same guy who did JLee's MR2, for those of you familiar with that saga) has three colors right now that he'll do for free: orange, green, and yellow, all metallic flake. I really like metallic colors, like the gray mica color on my MS3. It's primarily a track car, so I'm not going for show quality, but a new color might be fun, and I'd have to pay for paint if I wanted to keep it in Mariner Blue, and if I'm going to pay I may as well get a better color.

Thoughts? Any PS wizards want to show what colors would look like on it?

Out of those three, orange. Yellow is too popular right now, and a good orange color looks good on just about anything sporty.

I really like the mariner blue, mines the common red bleh, but since it is a track car and flash is acceptable on track cars go orange. I hate yellow and green unless it is some crazy bright green isn't enough for a track car.

I'd pay for the blue .

BRG is a pretty sweet color, but not quite my style. I'm not sure what shade of green it is, I need to stop by his shop and see the colors. The free colors change every now and then, too.

Orange. Just sporty enough, attention whoring enough, but not overdone.

Yellow exceeds all of the above criteria. Green is just a hideous car color.

Figured I'd do some quick photoshops since I horribly mixed em up when jlee asked before he painted his MR2 and I PS'ed his bike instead of his car. :\

Anyway, I used the orange he posted for a base on the orange. Yellow and green I just took a stab at it. The green is really left open since there's a lot of different shades, so I went bright since the other two are bright colors lol.

Given that green is so shade-dependent and we have no info on shade, I'd have to say orange.

I've been thinking about it a little, and green with orange racing stripes might be just outrageous enough to work, but I really have to see the green vs orange. I really like the stripes on this car:

The blue/white combo has been done, though it's still awesome.

IcePickFreak: think you could PS that car with slightly brighter orange stripes, and a slightly darker green body?

Bit of a tricky one to make look right because the white really blows out the contrast from reflections, but did what I could to blend em in a bit.
