What color do blind people see?

Well, I doubt we have any blind people reading this to inform us. Not to mention if their blind, how would they know what color is what? If you tell someone red is blue all their life then red is blue. But someone who went blind would likely beable to inform somone of this.

Well, the reason why I am asking is I was playing with my new camera phone and temporarily blinded myself with the flash. For a few minutes there was this white spot there when I was in the darkness. It's all back to normal now, but it got me thinking.

Tomorrow, go outside and look at the sun for a few seconds, then look away. What do you see? Spots in your vision. It's quite common and has no relation to what blind people see, because the spots are due to a brightly lit source in a (relatively) dark scene. If blind people can't see light at all, I mean the ones who are really blind not legally blind, then they obviously won't see the spots.

IIRC, most blindless comes with having growth over the eyes or something. I think most blind peopel don;t have detached retenas or something. For those that are legally blind for example, everything is a blur iirc.

I asked a similar question a few months back: Do deaf people think in sign?

It got parodied and my thread got locked along with the parodies 🙁
