NJIT (sausagefest institute of technology)

lol. how is it as a school? I've been thinking about going there to pick up my masters degree.

ummm, here is my rant on NJIT...
- A lot of bad profs, many with thick accents
- Newark, NJ. Not exactly the most exciting city, or the safest. While on-campus is pretty safe, if you decide to wander a few blocks from school in the wrong direction you will end up gang territory, seriously ("bloods", "crips"). Also, if you park your car off campus you're bound to get it broken in to, or stolen. However, one nice addition this year is the new campus student center that was just built. Last year we had nothing except a cafateria.
- rate of students graduating in 4yrs: 15%
- rate of students graduating in 6yrs: 49%
- and best of all, 21% female population
