What classifies a thread as lock or delete?

Anybody have insight on what threads get deleted and what gets locked? Does locked mean bad, and deleted mean really bad? Or does locked mean the mods want to show an example of what not to do?

What are your theories on this?

There you go. Locked means example and it means there wasn't a recent example just like it. I think the mods do a good job overall.

Pretty much. There are so many ways to figure this out without starting a whole thread on it.
