What classic RPGs (p&p) did you grow up with?

Also some Shadowrun and Vampire/Werewolf stuff.

yes I used to play star frontiers everyday at lunch that was great. the sonic disruptor was my favorite weapon.

D&D here and there but could never find a faithful gm or group.

have you tried your local hobby store? mine used to cast their own (often no-royalties-paid copies of GW or ral partha) and they were considerably cheaper than the boxed ones.

Reaper minis has a lot of random fantasy miniatures and you don't have to buy big boxed sets like GW sells.
