what chinese word sounds like awesome dude?

A few guys I work with are Chinese and I'm pretty sure they are speaking mandarin. I keep hearing something like "Nigguh" or "awesome dude" when they talk. Seems to be some kind of affirmation or something.







Nearly 5 year old- necro.

duh, they're talking about the african american dude walking down the street that's about to rob their laundromat.

its their "filler" word. Like how english uses "like" or "um"

(at least thats what Russel Peters says :) )

ROFL, my GF is chinese and I've been making fun of the same thing. And I just showed her this thread right now. She LOL'ed and said neeka means 'this one'.

Maybe it's something in the hokkien/tiou tchou dialects she spoke or maybe it's a Malaysia thing too.

nei4ge4 is a lot more 'closer sounding' to awesome dude than na4ge4
