What cellphone to get?

What cellphone should I get with at&t?

Nokia 3595 (49.99 with 49.99 rebate)
Next Generation (GSM/GPRS)

Nokia 3560 (99.99 with 99.99 rebate)
Digital (TDMA)

Nokia 6200 (149.99 with 125 rebate)
Next Generation (GSM/GPRS)

I have no clue the differences between them.

unless you live in a big city, att gsm service maybe spotty at best. (somethign to keep in mind when choosing phones)

i used to get the latest and the coolest phone at the sacrifice of call quality, now i carry my nokia 3360 brick around and altho i hate the phone, i hate dropping calls more.

Have you looked at their Sony Ericsson phones? I've used them, Nokia, and Sanyo and prefer SE.

I having been using a T68m (it only says Ericsson on the front) through Tmobile for about a year...my g/f uses a Nokia 8290...when I hit the 'TALK' button on my phone, it takes from 5 - 20 seconds for it to make a connection and start ringing... On the 8290, as soon as you hit 'TALK', it is ringing within 5 secs...

Waiting for the portability law (take your old Cell # to a new provider) to go into effect (anyone know if it will go live by Dec 03?? I heard the date was like 11/28/03 or something) before I look to getting a new phone with faster internet speeds w/bluetooth....

If you travel at all, get the TDMA phone. GSM coverage isn't very great, yet, and isn't moving ahead very quickly. I get very inconsistent coverage with gsm, and have since switched to CDMA (verizon) coverage.
