What cellphone do you own?

Currently own Audiovox 9100 w/ verizon. Great phone, clear, good reception.

Owned:
Sanyo 4500 (great phone all around but a tad BIG to my standards now)
Samsung 8500 (wasn't impressed)
Nokia 61xx (older flip, not that good)
Nokia 51xx (blah)

Want:
Kyocera 3035 (cool ass phone) and Nokia 3390 (snake 2).

Samsung SCH 8580.

(It's identical to the Samsung SCH 8500 used on Sprint PCS, except mine is used on Clearnet PCS in canada)

Nokia 8260

This is my third Nokia (26sumthin and 61sumthin were my other two), I love em. Had a Samsung 6100 that was the biggest POS ever.

<< Nah man, the 3390 is an awesome phone. It's got everything on it. >>

For the money, you can NOT beat this phone. I have one, and it's great. It's got AIM on it (kickass feature), a composer, it's dead solid (dropped mine a few times and it's as good as new), you can assign ringtones to specific people/groups, voice dialing, good reception, can't beat it 🙂

btw, I got mine for $65 @ BB

Nokia 8290 w/Blue Leds (Bestbuy messed up and i got if for free, paid $20 for the LED's)

<< Man, Nokia's are THE WORST PHONE ever....>>

Sorry, but im gonna have to disagree. Ive gone through 6 different providers now with 6 different phone (3 of which used nokia) The first nokia i used was the 6160 about a year ago, then the 6190 a little later, and now i have the 8290. All three times i had the nokia the voice quality was much improved over the other phones i had used (i.e Samsung, Eriksson, Qualcomm - i cant remember the model numbers off the top of my head, sorry) Also, im taking into account the amount i dropped each of these phones. Im a clumsy guy sometimes and have dropped each of these 3-4 times each. The qualcomm split into 3 pieces, the eriksson's lcd broke, and the samsung worked as crappy as it used to 🙂 The only nokia i had problems with was the 6160 with a broken antenna, but i got that fixed. Granted nokia phones are expensive sometimes compared to others, i have been more than happy with all of my nokia's and will purchase another in the future.

None.

Nokia 3360 - TDMA ver. of the 3390. Best phone for your TDMA dollar - $25. Changeable faceplates, so if you drop it, you can even get a new screen for $10 🙂 Downloadable ringtones, snake2, all the other goodies..

I had a StarTAC (both an analog one and then later a digital one) and I miss the flip 🙁 Its cool as hell to hang up on ppl buy closing the phone..too bad there are no good economical flips that have the features I want (V60t would be nice, but very expensive, and I'd probably break it 🙂)

LOL, a cheapie Ericsson, I can't see paying big money to help people annoy me when I'm out and about 😀

Are you talking about that text messenger thing?

Nokia 7110. Soon my company will give me Nokia 6310 🙂

As vor Nokia phones being crap... Sorry, but I too have to disagree with you. I myself have only used Nokias, but people near me have used different brands. And my impressions aren't that great...

Motorola: My GF bough one brand new last fall. Talk about pile of steaming sh!t! Voice quality was so bad that it was unusable! UI was clunky when compared to Nokia (Nokia has the best UI of the business) We tried two different phones, each had the same problem with the sound-quality.

Philips: Crap. end of story

Ericsson: Before we tried Motorola, my GF had Ericsson. So does her sister. My GF had all kinds of problems with, and her sister does too. Now my GF uses different model Ericsson, and so far it has been good.

Nokia: I have owned/used 4 different models (1611, 5110, 6150 and now 7110). NO problems whatoever! Well, my 7110 had a problem with a microphone, but it was my fault. I used it in somewhat wet conditions. They fixed it under warranty so I'm not complaining 🙂.

There is a good reason why Nokia is BY FAR the biggest and the most profitable cell-phone manufacturere in the world 😉.
