What CD/DVD burning software to get for my office PC?

Hi there. I know I am light years behind as I am used to using Nero Easy CD Creator and the like and I am sure this brand has fallen out of favor. However, I am faced with the issue that I often have to copy/create CDs and DVDs at work and I don't have the proper software on my PC. Another computer in the office has an older version of Nero which I use often, though I would like to be able to do such things on my computer.

For information purposes, my current office computer runs Windows 7 and I know that it has some built in burning features, but it doesn't seem to be very easy to use. I have a standard CD/DVD burner.

If anyone could recommend either free or paid burning software, I would much appreciate it.

get CDRWin. Just Kidding, does it come with bundled burning software? If you want to put files on a disc the bundled software should work just fine.

Burning Studio
CD Burner XP
Infrarecorder

All three are free and work well.

FYI, DVDFab isn't really a basic burning program. It's for removing copy protection from DVDs and converting them into specific formats. A great program, to be sure, but doesn't sound like what you need.

Imgburn is easily the best burning software in my opinion. Some people don't like the interface, but it is quite versatile. It will set the layer break correctly for dvd-video when burning to double layer dvds, unlike some. And you can make ISO files, update firmware through the program, make cue files for music cd's, update dma on older computers that still have IDE interface drives, etc. Its free to download and use.

ImgBurn is the wors burner! IT is only good for burning ISO images but anything else is a joke! You have to take an online course and reinvent the wheel to burn an audio CD. video DVD? you need a PHD to be able to do that!

I can't believe people classify this piece of junk app as a burning program

Do NOT install imgburn!!!!

CDburnerXP = thumbsup!!! (Or Nero Express for quick & dirty)
