I have a MSI K7t Turbo 2 Mother and a 1700+ XP Tbred A that won't boot over 1.65 volts, i would like yo know if it a problem of the processor? the mother? or perhaps the power supply, as it is a generic 350w, thank you very much

it is a designed feature of the msi bios for that board
i have the same board and processor and it does that too
but when i put a 2500+ in it then it reads different and allows more voltage options in the bios
i also tryed modding a few bridges on the proc but this didn't seem to help in fooling the bios

don't feel bad i can only overclock the 1700+ to 1900+ speeds in that board
unless you can trick it into thinking you got a 2400+ or 2600+ then yur stumpted (something with a 266fsb and high clock mult)

good luck

Hmm, i don't have the MSI board so i would assume SoulKeeper is correct..

You flashed to the latest BIOS I hope..
