I do have hay fever but it isn't very bad right now.Originally posted by: Kojak
Sukhoi, do you have allergies? Possibly could be fluid in the inner ear.
I think I used to get ear infections when I was a little kid, but I have no idea what kind. Normally my balance is great, so I doubt I have Labyrinthitis.Originally posted by: yukichigai
Have you ever had a middle ear infection? (A.K.A. Labyrinthitis) Once you have that your balance is impacted for the rest of your life, and it can lead to occasional onsets of vertigo as you described.
I don't know exactly, but it's nothing strange. I recently did one of those inaccurate stand-up things at the mall and it said something like 124/XX.Originally posted by: CitizenDoug
What is your blood pressure?
I don't know, but I do. I'll wake up right out of a dead sleep with my head spinning around in circles. Usually if I stare at my clock intently the dizzyness will go away, but I'll still feel a bit odd for the next few hours.Originally posted by: MichaelD
How the hell can you get dizzy while you are SLEEPING?
That would really suck!Originally posted by: Munchies
A severe case of spontaneous death. First dissiness, then one day your walking along. Boom, you die.

Sometimes out of the blue I'll get instantly dizzy where it feels like I'm in a rowboat on 10 foot seas. Usually it happens to me while I'm asleep (I wake up right away and it will go away shortly) but it just did it while I was sitting here eating lunch and surfing online. I think this is the first time I've ever had it happen while I'm awake.
Luckily it's getting better and I think I'll be able to drive home when I get out of here at 5:00.

earwig. as it eats away the brain tissue the hollow pockets cause dizziness.
I get that after being on a plane. Exact same thing, I don't think it's something to worry about. You're just sitting there and suddenly, wheeeeeeeeee!. It's kind of naseating and fun at the same time.Originally posted by: Sukhoi

You might want to talk to your doctor.
My friend was dizzy out of the blue two weeks ago, he went to see the doctor.
Last saturday they removed the baseball sized tumor from his brain.
As stated - could be something simple or life threatening.
Hot summer months require the awareness that heat can kill. Watch for the following...
Symptoms
Weakness, dizziness
Rapid pulse
Reddish tinge to skin
Nausea and/or vomiting
